This is the 4th Volume of Soul Town – We have chosen to put some of the best Soul and Motown Edits which we have come across with some original soul favourites as well. The mix kicks off with a great song from The Apples which is a version of the Rage Against The Machine song ‘Killing in the Name Of’, there are plenty of great reworks from Scratchandsniff and Whiskey Barons which are usually just extended re-works of the original soul tracks to not take anything away from the original.
This will make you miss the King of Pop even more. YouTuber Maim Ixed pitch shifted the new Daft Punk track “Get Lucky” and found out the track sounds a hell of a lot like Michael Jackson. Add in some “hee-hee’s” and “shamonas” and you have a posthumous Michael Jackson single. All we need now is a half billion dollar hologram and we can take this Daft Punk MJ show on the road!
