Throw pretentiousness out of the window, forget about being too school for school, this is a track. I was trawling youtube on a musical journey recently when I came across this little classic from Bronski Beat. Ye, you’ve heard Smalltown Boy, who hasn’t? But what about this one?
This song may be from the 80’s and fashion may not be ultimately in it’s favour, but surely it’s worth looking kindly on this song. It’s a guilty pleasure admittedly, but nothing like as shabby as some X Factor or reality, Stars In Their Eyes wannabe tosh. My tune of the day!

Yeasayer’s track ‘O.N.E’ is an electronic gem really which has slipped under most people’s radar. The song was from the band’s second album and was released March 23rd 2010 and only reached #190 in the UK chart. The song which also featured on one of the popular Fifa games has a great Disco up beat feel to it. Be sure to check out their Facebook for more info…

This will be one of the anthems of the Summer has to be this chilled out House song from Chris Malinchak, ‘So Good To Me’ This is the official video for Chris Malinchak ‘So Good To Me’ on Ministry of Sound TV. The song has a really spaced out sound with the delay of the synths rolling throughout the song. The vocals make you want to be sat on a beach somewhere sipping away at a cocktail. This year has really been good to the Deep House genre and this song will help promote this style of EDM to the masses!
Make sure to grab hold of Giraffages’s awesome remix of the hit single ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ by Stardust! This spaced out summer remix from Giraffage uses the Acapella from Stardust’s track which he has overlaid over some beautifully arpeggiated synths which gives the song new chill-wave life. Stardust was a project one-time musical collaborative of producers Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk , Alan Braxe and vocalist Benjamin Diamond .This short-term group launched the immensely popular song “Music Sounds Better with You” in June of 1998. Another Free Download we have come across today. With the return of Crystal Fighters and their latest album Cave Rave, plenty of remixes and edits have been surfacing around on the internet. Gigamesh released this remix of You & I yesterday and it is a real face-paced stomper of a track. The bassline sounds like an italio-disco song that you would of heard in Europe in the 1970’s! The synths really add to the track and gives the song a good groove! This could be another very good summer for the London based band with their album due for release later this month on the 27th May!
Here is the new single from Indie Electronic Synth Pop, British, Spanish Band which formed 2007 in London. The song ‘Wave’ will be the first release from their second album which is named Cave Rave.
