Brilliant remix here from Karma Kid on what is possibly THE house record of the year so
far, ‘what I might do’ by Ben Pearce. Moving away from the deep bass and
somewhat dark vibe of the original, karma kid takes the record a totally different
direction, re-working the vocals beautifully and adding in a real groovy melody
with easy on the ear high hats and claps. This remix is defiantly worthy of the
original, some may even say an improvement, either way its guaranteed to be getting
people grooving on dirty dance floors up and down the country for the
foreseeable future !

The first time I saw Seasick Steve perform ‘Down On The Farm’ on Jools Holland I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the fierce riff out of my head. It will appeal to fans of ZZ Top for sure! When I searched the net for the video to post the Jools performance I cam across this video which features Seasick Steve himself dancing to the track with his guitar. Well I couldn’t control my laughter at his dancing and I am sure you will enjoy his performance as much as the song!
Down on the Farm is from Seasick Steve’s latest album “Hubcap Music” which was released on the 29th April 2013!
Here is a Competition mix for ‘The Party Unites : The Revolution’ with Carl Cox. It would be awesome if you could Like, Share and Favourite the mix for me and help me win the competition where I would get to DJ at Carl Cox’s night in Ibiza!

This will be one of the anthems of the Summer has to be this chilled out House song from Chris Malinchak, ‘So Good To Me’ This is the official video for Chris Malinchak ‘So Good To Me’ on Ministry of Sound TV. The song has a really spaced out sound with the delay of the synths rolling throughout the song. The vocals make you want to be sat on a beach somewhere sipping away at a cocktail. This year has really been good to the Deep House genre and this song will help promote this style of EDM to the masses!
This is the 4th Volume of Soul Town – We have chosen to put some of the best Soul and Motown Edits which we have come across with some original soul favourites as well. The mix kicks off with a great song from The Apples which is a version of the Rage Against The Machine song ‘Killing in the Name Of’, there are plenty of great reworks from Scratchandsniff and Whiskey Barons which are usually just extended re-works of the original soul tracks to not take anything away from the original.
